Slow Exhale And Some Ham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s now 2019.\u00a0 I wish I had posted more over the holidays, but I was swamped.\u00a0 Hubs and I were complete recluses over New Year&#8217;s because we both needed serious down time.\u00a0 I had visions of posting all my dinners over the holidays and I was lucky enough to snap some pics of some platters and that was about it.\u00a0 I&#8217;m fine with it.\u00a0 It was more important to me to spend time with my friends and family.\u00a0 Priorities and all.\u00a0 I know you&#8217;ll all forgive me.<\/p>\r\n<p>So now what?\u00a0 Well, I&#8217;m currently in leftovers oblivion.\u00a0 I think Hubs and I have powered through most of it.\u00a0 We greatly over estimated the ham situation, though.\u00a0 Yes, I cured my own hams for the holidays.\u00a0 Then Hubs smoked them.\u00a0 Then I dropped them in the sous vide.\u00a0 Then I baked one and kept one in reserve.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone ham.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve already done grilled ham and cheese sammys.\u00a0 Of course, there will be hambone navy bean soup.\u00a0 But I&#8217;m a bit tired of my usual leftover ham repertoire of scalloped potato casserole.\u00a0 Or ham pot pie.\u00a0 What a yawn.\u00a0 I do like some hawaiian pizza, but I&#8217;m not ready to make pizza sauce.\u00a0 And I don&#8217;t want to go to the store skewers.\u00a0 With mushrooms.\u00a0 And barbecue sauce.\u00a0 On some rice.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I have all of those things.\u00a0 No grocery store.\u00a0 However, when I bought the mushrooms, I forgot why I was buying them because Hubs and I were having a tiff and I was flustered.\u00a0 So I accidentally got sliced instead of whole, but I know ya&#8217;ll won&#8217;t mind them in the pics.\u00a0 id=\"wprm-recipe-7285-step-0-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\">Preheat oven to 400. I used convection. Line a baking sheet with foil. Add the mushrooms, pineapple, and ham onto the skewers in an alternating fashion and arrange them on the baking sheet. Coat with bbq sauce and bake until the corners on the cubed ham and or pineapple start to brown, about 15 minutes or so.
