Beans With Dried Tomatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ll be glad when I get to the point where I&#8217;m posting about recipes that don&#8217;t have tomatoes in them.\u00a0 In the meantime, I made this little side dish to go with some mystery beef we smoked up the other night.\u00a0 I had some leftover green beans from Costco that I needed to use.\u00a0 That little five dollar package is deceiving.\u00a0 There&#8217;s easily enough for two dinners for four people in that little package.\u00a0 I had used mine for the minestrone and used the rest for this dish.\u00a0 There was enough for 6 adults and a toddler and that was with a few people having seconds!<\/p>\n<p>I spooned some of my oven dried tomatoes into the Vita Mix, poured them onto the green beans,\u00a0and sauteed it all together.\u00a0 That was pretty much it.\u00a0 Now I want to make more oven dried tomatoes.\u00a0 It was that good.\u00a0 Even my man child loved it and he&#8217;s not a fan of tomatoes (how is he even my kid?!) unless it&#8217;s marinara (oh, there&#8217;s my kid), pizza sauce (yep), or salsa (because duh, that requires chips).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large benas from Costco<\/span><\/li><li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1<\/span>&#32;<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">cup<\/span>&#32;<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">pureed oven dried tomatoes<\/span><\/li><li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">1<\/span>&#32;<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">or 2 tablespoons olive oil<\/span><\/li><li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\">4<\/span>&#32;<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">or 5 cloves fresh garlic<\/span><\/li><li little olive oil....not too much because the tomatoes have oil in them also....and season it with as much pepper as you like.&nbsp; The oven dried tomatoes also have salt in them so avoid using any extra salt unless you like that sort of thing.&nbsp; <br><br>Next, puree about a cup of oven dried tomatoes with the garlic cloves in a blender and pour them over the beans.&nbsp; Toss them with tongs
